ESI Ultrapure Donates to NIBRT
Supporting Education while Reducing Waste ♻️
At ESI Ultrapure, we’re always looking for practical ways to reduce waste. One simple but impactful step has been donating unused, reduced shelf life, single use components to NIBRT – National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training, allowing these materials to be repurposed for training and testing instead of being discarded.
Extending the Life of Single‑Use Materials

Surplus tubing, bags, connectors, and other components that have passed their shelf life can’t be used in production, but they’re perfect for hands-on learning. By redirecting these materials to NIBRT, we help ensure they are used to their full potential.
Supporting Real‑World Training
NIBRT’s training programmes rely on realistic, industry‑standard equipment. Our donations help them:
- Deliver more practical, skills focused sessions.
- Reduce the need for newly manufactured training materials.
- Give learners experience with the same technologies used in modern biopharma facilities.
It’s a small change that makes training more sustainable and more accessible.

Circular Thinking
This donation reflects ESI Ultrapure’s broader sustainability goals, reducing waste and supporting circular thinking, while helping the next generation of bioprocessing professionals learn in a real‑world environment.
We’re proud to support NIBRT’s mission and to give single‑use components a meaningful second life.
