PROPOR® MR Mycoplasma-Removal Filters

PROPOR® MR filters are specifically engineered to provide reliable mycoplasma removal without sacrificing flow rates, enabling fast and efficient processing of cell culture media while minimising contamination risks.

Featuring a highly retentive 0.1-micron rated polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, PROPOR® MR filters are validated against both Brevundimonas diminuta — the industry standard for sterilising-grade filtration — and Acholeplasma laidlawii, a common mycoplasma species found in contaminated cultures.

An integrated asymmetric membrane prefilter layer maximises capacity and enhances flow rates, delivering an optimal balance of protection and processing speed. Fast filtration reduces exposure time, further decreasing the risk of contamination while ensuring critical protection from mycoplasma threats.
