SciLog FilterTec™ – Automated NFF System for Enhanced Filtration Performance
The SciLog FilterTec™ is an automated, lab-scale normal flow filtration (NFF) system designed to optimise filtration parameters, maximise filter throughput, and streamline filter evaluation. It supports walk-away operation by automatically adjusting and documenting back pressure and filtrate using up to three connected pressure sensors.
Featuring the patented R/P Stat Method, the system maintains a constant flow rate until a user-defined pressure is reached, then transitions to constant pressure, boosting filter yield by up to 30%. Integrated with SciDoc software, it captures 15 real-time filtration parameters and, when paired with an optional scale, documents filtrate weight across all modes, including Vmax calculations for filter comparison.
The FilterTec™ is ideal for applications such as media and buffer filtration, bioreactor harvest, sterile filtration, viral filtration, and chromatography column loading.
FilterTec™ Plus extends these capabilities by controlling three pump heads and integrating with up to three electronic balances, enabling parallel testing of three identical or different filters under the same conditions for statistical validation and increased productivity.
Available with a range of pump leads, motor speeds, and optional scales to match your specific process needs.
