Parker PROPOR BR Filters

PROPOR BR filters combine an integral meltblown prefilter layer with a high-performance polyethersulfone membrane to deliver exceptional dirt-holding capacity and reliable microbial protection, achieving a bioburden log reduction greater than 5. This makes them ideal for bioburden reduction of Large Volume Parenterals (LVPS) before terminal sterilisation.

Designed for durability and consistency, PROPOR BR filters are also perfect for prefiltration and bioburden reduction before sterilising-grade membrane filtration. Their robust construction ensures consistent performance across multiple production batches.

  • PROPOR BR filter cartridges can be sanitised with hot water at up to 90 °C (194 °F) and are compatible with a wide range of chemicals.

BIOLOGICAL SAFETY

  • Materials conform to the relevant requirements of 21CFR Part 177 and current USP Plastics Class VI – 121 °C and ISO10993 equivalents.

QUALITY STANDARDS

Pharmaceutical grade products are manufactured per cGMP, 100% flushed with pharmaceutical grade purified water and integrity tested before despatch. A sample of each lot is tested to demonstrate conformity to validated claims.

GAMMA-IRRADIATION

PROPOR BR MURUS & DEMICAP disposable filters can be gamma-irradiated up to a maximum dosage of 40 kGy.
